GUNS N' ROSES Frontman Performs At MICHAEL J. FOX FOUNDATION Gala In NYC
November 11, 2006GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose performed Saturday (Nov. 11) at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research fundraising dinner at The Waldorf-Astoria in New York City, titled "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's..."Rose reportedly performed "Live And Let Die", a cover of the PAUL MCCARTNEY AND WINGS track, at the event, which was co-chaired by Martin Scorsese and Muhammad Ali.
BEATLES' tribute band THE FAB FAUX were later joined onstage by Fox, Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow and Rob Thomas.
GUNS N' ROSES previously covered "Live And Let Die" on their 1991 album "Use Your Illusion I".
